Packaging Automation & Controls, Seasonal Intern/Co-Op (Fall 2022)

Haskell is looking for a Packaging Automation & Controls, Seasonal Intern/Co-Op to join our Packaging team. A “Co-Op” at Haskell, (or reoccurring internship), differs from a typical ‘”Internship”, in that you will attend school and work full-time, during a particular semester. Further, our preference would be for you to continue your experience throughout multiple semesters/time frames.

The Packaging Team supports several facets by providing master planning, design, execution, and start-up services for packaging systems. Clients are manufacturers in the Food and Beverage; Beer, Wine, and Spirits; and Consumer Products market segments. Our “Co-Op” will support efforts to ensure that mechanical portions are technically sound, on schedule, and within cost.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for assembling documents to include:

• Bid packages
• Bid evaluations
• Drawing packages
• Equipment notebooks
• Specifications

Additional Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain databases
• Assist in project schedule tracking, project accounting, and project status reporting
• Perform drafting and design work in AutoCad
• Develop flow sheets, package and speed matrices

Education/Experience

Engineering Co-Op or Non-engineering College Graduate, preferable in Electrical Engineering. Experience in an engineering support position preferred.
