Position Title: Contract Specialist Intern

Role

Summer internship position will be for a student to be responsible for the development and execution of contracts and other associated documents, ensuring deliverables are legally sufficient and meet company standards and customer expectations. Understand customers’ and business partners’ needs, interests, and concerns, while connecting deal points and expediting deliverables through expertise in template development, contract knowledge, and ability to deliver innovative solutions.

Expectations

  • Take a cross-functional, shared responsibility approach in a centralized organization with contract development and execution teams located in various offices across the nation.
  • Prepare standard form contract agreements and related documentation in accordance with prescribed templates, guidelines, and established contract policies and procedures.
  • Analyze contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate terms, conditions, laws, regulations, corporate policies and business procedures.
  • Partner with internal or external business teams communicating standard processes and provide innovative solutions relative to contract development and execution.
  • Forecast and manage deliverable timelines, including resolving issues to ensure deliverable targets are achieved.

Education/Certifications

  • Enrolled in a Legal related program from an accredited university.

Experience/Minimum Requirements 

  • Ability to use MS Office programs, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Capable of listening carefully and following directions.
  • Detail Oriented.
  • Open mind with creative ideas for future initiatives to improve through digital transformation.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time, regular basis without additional sponsorship

Reports to: Supervisor, Contract Development

Work Plans: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in your assigned office approximately 60% of the time (3 days per week) and where you do your best work 40% (2 days per week).

Additional Information: Crown Castle is a federal contractor and the COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement of employment by your start date to comply with Executive Order 14042.
