Job Description
This position will interface with internal and external marketing resources to insure strategic branding and event marketing activities are leveraged to their fullest. There will be daily involvement with our advertising agency to insure they are executing the plans and tactics determined by the organization. This person will insure there is a common theme throughout our consumer contact points which include broad market advertising, trade print and each website.
- Conduct extensive research via the internet.
- Interface with the PR agency to insure they have set up marketing events to maximize attendance.
- Attend events on a regular basis to determine value of this initiative and determine what improvements can be made on for continuous improvement.
- Manage and maintain all branded web sites. Insure sites are updated on a regular basis.
- Forecast monthly spending levels for PR, Adverstising and Event Marketing programs.
- Attend location shoots for media spots insure brand strategies and tactics are executed.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills essential
- Good decision making ability, handle multiple tasks with little direction and be able to prioritize
- Must work well with cross-functional teams. Must be a self-starter, well organized, resourceful, detail oriented and be able to function in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint required
Required Experience
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Marketing.
- Only undergraduate students will be considered for this opportunity. Junior or Senior level students preferred.
