Are you interested in a career in renewable energy? Come join the UL Sustainable Energy and Infrastructure team and learn about renewable energy projects. In the Due Diligence team you’ll will work with various technical subject matter experts to review the technical aspects of solar projects that are either in development or operation. In performing the work, you will learn about the renewable energy industry, how projects are developed, financed, constructed, and operated.

What You’ll Learn & Achieve

  • Complete renewable energy due diligence and advisory project management functions in a consultancy environment
  • Collaborate internally within a multi-disciplinary team to complete various work tasks
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of databases for internal use
  • Contribute to the development of processes to increase work product efficiency and quality
  • Understand and ensure company quality control standards are met
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program focusing on physical sciences or engineering from an accredited University
  • Course work relevant to the wind or solar energy sector
  • Experience and/or interest in renewable energy project management
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • Experience with databasing and/or data analysis
  • Detail-oriented
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
