Atlassian Cloud Specialist

As an Atlassian Cloud Specialist in ADI Technology Operations, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our Jira environment. Your impact will include streamlining processes, enhancing data security, and ensuring efficient handling of customization requests, which are vital for maintaining a stable and secure environment.

How you will help us

Based in our Hoofddorp location and reporting to the Help Desk Manager, as part of the role you will

• Identify and archive old or inactive projects to streamline the Jira environment and improve performance
• Implement and maintain automated backup processes to ensure data integrity and quick recovery in case of issues
• Assist in redesigning the permissions structure to make it intuitive and manageable
• Handle Jira customization requests, ensuring timely and accurate implementation
• Develop a streamlined process for handling customization requests, focusing on Jira Software, Jira Product Discovery, and Jira Service Management instances
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand and implement the overall vision for the Jira environment, facilitating progress towards strategic objectives
• Establish guidelines for using team-managed versus company-managed projects, each with its own unique schemes
• Monitor and address performance issues to ensure optimal functioning of the Jira environment

What we are looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in administering Atlassian tools, focusing on Jira Software, Jira Product Discovery, and Jira Service Management
• Proven track record of managing and optimizing large-scale Jira environments, including project archiving, automated backups, and performance monitoring.
• Experience with redesigning permissions structures and managing complex customization requests.
• Proficient in Jira administration, including workflows, schemes, custom fields, dashboards, and automation.
• Knowledge of performance and monitoring tools and techniques.
