Job Description

The Regulatory Intern is responsible for managing the health, safety and environmental aspects of raw materials, components, and finished products throughout their life cycle and across the value chain. The goal is to prevent or minimize potential negative impacts and maximize value by ensuring compliance to any applicable requirements. This internship opportunity will support these activities and further our corporate social responsibility efforts.

Essential Job Functions

  • Develop and update knowledge of state, federal and international regulation, guidance and standards applicable to company products
  • Ensure new and existing products and product documentation meet regulatory requirements in all applicable regions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in various business functions
  • Ensure timely collection and compilation of relevant data from suppliers, procurement and plant operations while supporting business units
  • Identify opportunities for improvement
  • Organize regulatory databases and information
  • Present internship project(s) overview to key stakeholders

Education Requirements

Pursuing a 4 year degree in Research, Science, Engineering or other related field.

Job Requirements

  • Skill in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook
  • Detail oriented and accurate
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and complete projects on schedule and on budget.
  • Analyze, organize, and problem solve frequently and efficiently
  • Ability to communicate status and actions effectively

Physical And Mental Demands Specific To This Position

Walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 35lbs, use of a computer, typing and ability to speak English.
