Primary Responsibilities
In the role of a Procurement Intern we’ll count on you to:
- Testing internal controls, documenting results of testing and communicating conclusions
- Working with members of procurement to document processes and internal controls
- Performing special projects
- Participating in a team environment and developing strong communication skills
- Testing compliance with HDR, Inc. policies and procedures
- Assisting HDR Corporate Procurement
- Working within HDR’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
- Completing procure to pay processing items to ensure completion of purchase orders to meet HDR requirements
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in logistics and supply chain management, legal studies, or related field.
- Attention to detail a must
- Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer 1 year completed toward degree.
- Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
- Local candidates preferred.
