FP&A Summer 2022 Internship – Louisville, KY

The Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Department is seeking qualified undergraduate and graduate students for our 2022 summer internship program. The UPS Internship program is designed to immerse interns in the corporate culture and expose them to interactions with management. Interns participate in business meetings and deliver presentations to senior management. This position performs other career related responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities

• Supports the enterprise financial analysis, reporting, planning organization by developing and delivering metrics/reporting solutions that expose ‘actionable insights’, modernize the way we consume data, make data driven conversations the norm
• Gains experience with various tools and programming languages in the field of software development
• Communicates new ideas/opinions with candor as you grow both professionally and personally through learning/development opportunities
• Manages components from corporate accounting, external reporting, reporting/consolidations, corporate planning, and Financial Information Systems (FIS)
• Builds necessary desk level procedures and training resources to ensure an effective Financial Analysis (FA) implementation

• Possesses excellent time management and communication skills (written and verbal); is detail oriented
• Demonstrates ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment; is willing to learn and has positive attitude
• Displays curious nature with a desire to tackle and solve complex problems
• Possesses knowledge of Data Science fundamentals
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access)
• Experience in using variety of programming languages and tools like SQL, XML, Python, VB.NET, PowerBI
