Intern- Information/Product Security

Job Summary

The Intern- IT Product Security will support efforts around building, testing and implementing a security strategy within a dynamic global organization. This person will expect to develop an understanding of complex IT systems and learn the latest security standards, systems and authentication protocols, as well as best practice security products.

Responsibilities

• Act as security design support for projects within IT Security / Digital Risk Management portfolio. Engage from the idealization through the system development lifecycle in project execution.
• Learn and provide support for the Vulnerabilities Management program
• Support alignment and governance across the various architectural domains
• Understand, advocate and support the enterprise’s IT strategy along with assisting in the development and implementation/realization of the various IT roadmaps
• Reviewing current system security measures and recommending and implementing enhancements
• Analyze the current IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
• Learn complexities of working in a global organization with onshore as well as offshore resources
• Actively engage in supporting strategic initiatives, and the related goals, to ensure the most optimal outcome

Requirements

• Actively working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Good working knowledge of current IT risks and experience implementing security solutions
• Ability to interact with a broad cross-section of personnel to articulate and enforce security measures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as business acumen
• Strong leadership, vision, effective communication and goal-oriented
• Strong ability to establish partnerships to achieve results within dynamic environment
