Remuneration: 180-230 PLN/h net + VAT; so about 42-53 EUR/h net + VAT) – depending on the candidate’s experience

The goal on this position:

Guide the Data team (MLOps and Data Scientists) through the migration process from CISCO to Azure – consultancy + hand-on work.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines, containers, and storage solutions.
• Develop and implement data lakehouse architectures using the medallion method on Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Build and maintain Machine Learning pipelines using Azure Machine Learning and Databricks.
• Configure and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for container orchestration.
• Automate deployments and infrastructure management using Azure Pipelines.
• Manage and maintain Azure SQL databases.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and MLOps Engineers to ensure optimal performance and scalability of the cloud environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience working as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Machine Learning, Databricks, AKS, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL databases, and Azure Pipelines.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data lakehouse architectures is a plus (e.g. Azure Data Lake Storage).
• Experience with Terraform.
• Knowledge of network communication protocols (firewalls).
• Experience with additional Azure database services (Cosmos DB, Blob Storage).
