Position Title: Staff Accountant

Role

Provide for the day-to-day operations of the account receivable (“AR”) accounting functions, including billing, cash application, unapplied cash and treasury.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Accounts Receivable and Treasury in the day-to-day operations
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of recurring and non-recurring invoices.
  • Complete cash application accurately and minimize unapplied cash.
  • Support the general ledger month-end close process by meeting established deadlines around cash application, billing and unapplied cash and ensuring the posting of data to the subledger.
  • Assist in the preparation for audits as required.
  • Review current process documents to ensure they are up to date with the current processes and controls
  • Manage AR and Treasury mailboxes

Education/Certifications

  • Currently enrolled in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited higher education institution
  • Preferred field(s) of study: Accounting/Finance

Experience/Minimum Requirements 

  • Able to work full time in a hybrid setting

Reports to: Devin Goroncy, Michael Polk

   

Work Plans: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in your assigned office approximately 60% of the time (3 days per week) and where you do your best work 40% (2 days per week). There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that requires up to 25% travel.
