CRM and Loyalty Analyst Intern

The CRM and Loyalty Analyst Intern will work on understanding the business environment of how analytics provide meaningful and actionable insights to the business. Will work closely with senior members of the analytics team to be exposed across the multiple functions of the analytics department and will help with analytical support focusing on loyalty programs, private label credit cards, email & direct mail channel insights, promotional analysis and customer segmentation.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manipulate, analyze, extract, and summarize large volumes of multifaceted data using various data analysis and reporting tools
• Support data management workstreams and help enable greater access to data through data querying and visualization tools
• Conduct deep dive analysis on customer transactional and behavioral data to identify key insights that drive business value
• Identify gaps in data sources, hygiene and data collection. Partner with IT to ensure confidence in data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Students currently seeking degrees in Business Analytics, Information Science, Business Intelligence, Data Science
• Strong independent worker/ self-starter
• Detail- Oriented
• Innovative and creative business minded thinker
• Friendly, professional demeanor, excellent at working in team environments
• Experience with SQL
• Proven capabilities of troubleshooting, analysis and problem solving as applied to complex data projects
• Must be comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-paced, ever-changing environment that requires a flexible and nimble approach
• Highly numerate with strong critical thinking skills and rigorous attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills – ability to clearly articulate methodologies and results with concision
• Requires the ability to interface with cross-functional internal teams
• Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
