Cue Health Inc. is seeking a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) intern. The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Intern will play a key role in driving DEI, an important area of focus at Cue Health. The DEI summer intern will support the programming, administration, and operations for the DEI team. The intern will work closely with the Associate Director, Talent Development & DEI and the Senior DEI Specialist on all aspects of the DEI Strategy, including talent attraction, communications, culture and education.

Responsibilities:

  • Research Diversity, Equity & Inclusion best practices, trends and external benchmarks and provide summaries and recommendations to the DEI team
  • Partner with DEI team and marketing team to develop social media content and drive activity
  • Support the design, development and execution of DEI programs and initiatives, to include heritage month celebrations, talent attraction events and Employee Resource Group activities
  • Collaborate with DEI team on creative communication strategies to engage employees and showcase DEI programs to employees across all functions of the organization
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with a major in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Marketing or Business
  • Strong writing and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and critical thinking skills
  • Highly collaborative and can effectively build relationships
  • Interest in diversity, equity and inclusion work and a desire to deepen expertise in this space

Environment and Physical Activities/Requirements:

  • You will work in an indoor remote environment for which no adverse conditions are expected. This position requires the following physical activities and/or requirements:
    • Remaining in a stationary or sedentary position, often standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods of time
    • Repeating motions, such as keyboarding, that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
    • Communicating with others to exchange information
    • Adjusting, moving, carrying, lifting, pushing or pulling objects up to 20 pounds
