SP+ (SP Plus)

Overview

Headquartered in Orlando, Baggage Airline Guest Services, Inc. is expanding its information technology department and looking for a Quality Analyst to work in an innovative environment in a fast-paced atmosphere. We are looking for a new member who desires and can expand their knowledge and implement new technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement test plans, test cases, UAT scripts
  • Ensure software meets intended user requirements, customer workflow, and user scenarios
  • Participate in improving Quality Assurance standards and processes
  • Document, track, and verify resolution of software specification defects.
  • Perform system, unit, regression, load, and functional/performance testing on applications.
  • Provide QA support during production cutovers.
  • Create and review user documentation manuals

Qualifications

  • Computer Science or IT majors
  • Strong communication and team skills
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized individual
  • Ability to work at least 20 hours per week (during regular business hours). Flexibility to increase hours per week during the summer term.

Preferred Skills Include

  • Knowledge of programming concepts
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
  • Knowledge of Python

  • No visible tattoos or body piercings are allowed. Any tattoos must be covered by your uniform or other means agreed upon by management.
  • Clean & well-maintained approved uniforms must be worn on shift
  • Additional requirements as specified by management

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers and communicate with customers and fellow employees. The employee is frequently required to sit, reach with hands and arms; stand; walk. The employee is also frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. In addition, the employee is required to twist, turn, stretch, and bend frequently. The employee must be able to lift and move up to 75 pounds regularly. The employee must be able to move in a relatively quick manner. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Peripheral vision, and Ability to adjust focus.
