Intern projects include working in all phases of the Software Development Cycle in an Agile environment.

POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The IT Engineering team provides design, implementation, and support for all infrastructure both on-premises and in the cloud. As TradeStation continues to grow, the business and our customers require faster and more reliable changes while also adapting to new markets and technologies. With this need, we need to develop more automated solutions and an infrastructure by code approach to reduce time to deployment and eliminate manual tasks.

As a Summer Intern, you will:

• Assist with projects to create automation scripts and playbooks to improve team efficiency
• Assist the team with evaluating, designing, and implementing automation solutions to meet project requirements and improve team performance
• Assist with building out and supporting needed infrastructure to implement automation

SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, IT, MIS or a related technical field
• Ability to pick up new programming/scripting languages quickly
• Programming experience in scripting languages
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Self-learner who can pick up knowledge through self-study
• Eager to learn and try new things
• Results-oriented mindset; interns will be solving real problems for real customers
• Willingness to work as a team to achieve results
• Eager to share with and learn from others
• Permanent US Work Authorization is required; no OPT/CPT
